Setup guide
Connect Odoo Online to Claude in four steps.
No custom Odoo module is required. The only URL Claude ever needs is the connector URL below.
The steps
From zero to live data.

1 · Create your workspace
Register at /register with your work email. This is the account Claude will ask you to sign into later.

2 · Create an Odoo integration user
In Odoo, create a dedicated user for Claude, grant only the apps and records it should read, then generate an API key for that user.

3 · Connect and pass live validation
In the workspace, open Odoo setup and enter the Odoo URL, database, integration-user login, and API key. KSRO discovers readable models from that user and tests the exact Odoo calls Claude will use.

4 · Add the connector to Claude
Add https://app.ksrolabs.com/mcp as a connector in Claude. Claude opens a KSRO sign-in page — log in with your workspace email and you are connected.

What Odoo needs
Use a dedicated integration user instead of a normal employee account.
- Odoo Online URL, for example https://northstar-retail.odoo.com
- Database name from Settings -> About
- Integration-user email and API key
- Odoo app permissions on the integration user
Odoo permissions still apply. If the integration user cannot read a model, Claude cannot read it either.
If validation fails
- The workspace shows whether authentication, model metadata, sample reads, or aggregation failed
- Permission gaps are fixed in Odoo by adjusting the integration user
- After changing Odoo settings, run validation again from the workspace
